Laura Alston
Laura Alston is a Caribbean American creative director and multimedia artist who uses traditional and emerging mediums to highlight unsung narratives in a way that empowers and archives the history of marginalized communities.
Earning a visual art degree from Ivy League institution Columbia University and supplemental education at Central Saint Martins and London College of Communication, Laura developed a holistic skillset in design and advertising that is rooted in storytelling.
She has exhibited in museums like Studio Museum in Harlem and Tate Britain, designed a building-wide installation for The Africa Center, and creative directed commercials spots for Meta, Tinder, Uber and more.
